Every year, the Lionsgate Portal opens from late July to mid-August, peaking on August 8th (8/8)—a sacred date when cosmic energies align to accelerate our spiritual awakening. An outpouring of angelic energy is downloaded at this time.

What does it mean?

This year, we experienced an 8.8 magnitude earthquake, awakening the Earth herself in physical manifestation. In numerology, 8 represents infinity, abundance, personal power, and balance between the spiritual and material worlds, bridging the two.

When doubled as 88, it forms a supercharged energetic gateway—one that allows for accelerated transformation, deep healing, and the activation of divine blueprints within our soul. This is an expansive code referred to as an angel number.

How is this energy appearing in your life?

It’s a moment of shedding old skins and outdated patterns and aligning with the higher vision of your life path. For myself, I am being shaken loose from many old patterns and behaviors that do not support my abundance.

This year, 2025 adds a powerful vibration to the portal’s energy since 2 + 0 + 2 + 5 = 9, symbolizing completion, culmination, and spiritual mastery. Pointing out and opening a path not only for expansion (through the 8s) but also for completion and preparation for new beginnings (through the 9).

Opening an Earthquake of Light

The Star Sirius Connection

During Lionsgate, the star Sirius—considered our “Spiritual Sun”—rises in the sky, aligned with the constellation of Leo. Sirius emits a high-frequency light, and its alignment with Earth acts as a celestial transmitter of codes, wisdom, and activations from higher realms.

This energy stimulates the third eye and heart chakras, opening us to soul-level remembering and divine truth.

But what many don’t realize is that this alignment also awakens the angelic realms.

It’s a time when archangels step closer to assist with galactic downloads—helping us anchor divine purpose, soul mission, and multidimensional healing into the physical world.

Archangel Metatron – Keeper of the Ascension Codes

Metatron is the chief architect of sacred geometry and cosmic timing. He works through the Merkabah and light-body activation, helping to integrate higher frequencies into our DNA. During Lionsgate, Metatron brings downloads from Sirius and the Akashic Records to awaken the dormant parts of your soul’s mission. You may feel pressure on your crown or receive intuitive messages through numbers or symbols.

When I did my personal card reading for the week, Metatron’s card immediately flew out of the deck with force. I call on Archangel Metatron and the angels of ascension by saying this out loud.

With the Sun in Leo, ruled by fire, courage, and royalty, Archangel Michael’s sword of truth slices through illusion and fear. He helps us claim our authority, release old contracts, and stand firm in our own truth. He supports you in letting go of any lingering attachments that keep you playing small. I am grateful for the help of Archangel Michael and claim my inner flame of divinity.

Archangel Ariel – Lioness of God

Archangel Ariel’s presence came through in last week’s channeled message.

Ariel’s name literally means “Lioness of God,” and she is the most aligned with the Leo energy of the Lionsgate. She anchors your connection to the natural world, abundance, and earthly manifestation. Ariel helps you take the downloads of higher light and ground them into tangible creative projects, prosperity, and relationships. I call on Archangel Ariel to help me to ground the energy of this month.

Raziel is the angel of sacred mysteries and higher spiritual knowledge. • Meditate daily from August 1–12, with the intention of connecting with your angels to assist with integration.
• Journal your intentions for what you are stepping into and what must be released.
• Use crystal focal points like lapis lazuli, citrine, or selenite to anchor in energy.
