Stop Being a Victim Forever
One of the most important reasons to be consciousness is to begin to feel the oneness of all humanity. To see and understand the different roles that we all play, commonly called archetypes. Armed with this knowledge it is possible to drop the drama of victim and victimizer forever.
This understanding is a huge shift for mankind and will change the whole world permanently. So get conscious about your thoughts and emotions, stop the drama of division in the world and your part in it!
In our life stories we often feel that we are victims to the unfairness of life, and we are powerless to defend against the things that happen to us. Or we may feel that in order to protect ourselves from being the victim in our life situations we have to become, either consciously or subconsciously, the victimizer. There appears to be no other option however this is an illusion.
It is possible through more conscious awareness to step out of the game and exit that revolving door of the victim/victimizer paradigm. It is wonderfully freeing to be conscious of the roles that people play as “archetypes.” Strive to be aware of the choices that you are making and then decide how you want to react. That decision itself takes one out of the victim stance.
A personal story to illustrate my point:
I put my old Suburban up for sale at Christmas because it was my last remaining source for the money that I really needed to make my move to another state. I did my visualization of selling the car quickly at my asking price and sent that intention out into the Universe knowing that it would be taken care of. But the truth was I was terrified of being a victim in the sale of my car.
A buyer that was very interested made an appointment to see the car. I felt that this was my sale. Then a man from out of state called saying he would put down a large deposit on the car if I would take it off the market until after Christmas. He would then come and purchase it at the asking price. It sounded like a scam but if he was going to put a large cash deposit, why not take the “sure thing” that he assured me it was.
Well, I agonized about this until I was sick. Am I being a victim? He had not even seen the car. But I could not see a loop-hole and the money came in. So I promptly used it for my U-haul trailer and began packing. Still I couldn’t shake the feeling that somehow things would go wrong. I couldn’t help it.
When the day arrived and the buyer came to get the car with his family, he abruptly stated that it wasn’t what he wanted and he wanted his money back. I was devastated! I did not have the money anymore. I wanted to be fair to him. I did not want to be a victimizer but I could not afford to be a victim either. What to do?
This whole situation was extremely upsetting to me and I imagine it was upsetting to the buyer who wanted his money back. But it was a wonderful example of how we get involved in the victim/victimizer dynamic in our life situations. I refused to accept the role of either victim or victimizer and this individual and I ended on friendly terms.
The point is: You can choose your reactions, and the role that you will play even when your thoughts and feelings try to take you down another road. By being consciously aware of your decisions you transcend the experience of playing either the victim or the victimizer. Be awake and aware, live life consciously!
