Full Moon Energy Update March 2021
Full moon energy is intense. It is well known that people go a little crazy at the full moon.
This year we are feeling a little stir crazy from being home too long and it feels like the crazy from last year is still ongoing.
It is noted in birthing rooms that more babies are born during the full moon as it pulls on the womb waters within the pregnant mother. This pull often starts the birth process.
We are personally birthing a new way of being in the world after all the things that have been changed by the global pandemic.
The moon rules the tides and water is the symbol of the emotional body and the changeability of the human psyche. Every full moon there is an opportunity to release all that is pent up in the emotional body that seeks release.
The full moon is celebrated in ritual ceremonies in many cultures and is associated with Shaman earth magic. Humans and animals might even howl at the moon like the wolf.
Full Moon Names
Each full moon has been given different names by Native American Tribes according to space.com “Full moon names (and more) for 2021.” This year the full moon in March is on the 28th and is known as Full Worm Moon. Some are calling it the Phoenix Moon as we rise from the ashes of the past.
March is the month that “the ground softens and earthworm casts reappear, inviting the return of robins. Some more northern tribes knew this as the Full Crow Moon, when the cawing of crows signals the end of winter.
This is also the Paschal Full Moon; the first full moon of the spring season. The first Sunday following the Paschal Moon is Easter Sunday, which this year will be observed one week later on Sunday, April 4.”
The full moon happening on the 28th is in the astrological sign of Libra which represents balance, fairness, justice and harmony. Shining a light on these Libra traits also brings up their polar opposites as part of the balancing act. This contrast helps us to bring clarity to what balance we have in our lives and what changes we want to make for more harmony.
Libra Full Moon Meaning
What does this mean to you? It means that the things that come up to be healed are highlighted by the Libra energy. Like the disharmony that you see in your world represents a reflection of imbalances in our own energy field.
We must find balance, fairness and harmony within to achieve it without. Meditation and mindfulness will take us far in finding the balance we long for. There is no time like the present to make significant changes in our daily lives that will reflect in our world.
Inequality is surfacing everywhere to be seen and healed. This is awesome! It is the opportunity for new beginnings resulting in more harmony. We also have the opportunity to meditate on the changes that we wish to see during this Easter holiday season. May we sooth the stormy seas within and without in this full moon season.
Happy full moon and Happy Easter blessings in the wonderful new energies of spring!
